If you have friends or relatives abroad and call them often then you are probably know that this is a very expensive. Just imagine to talk 60 minutes by phone with Russia or Tunisia. It is really expensive unless you earn millions.

It is never late to start saving. It is never late to have spare money to buy something more useful. So why paying large bills to your telephone company when there is an alternative that you will love to use.

I mean phone cards. They are also often called as calling cards or international calling cards or international phone cards, or prepaid phone cards. It is all the same. If you see online internet shops that sell international calling cards it is the right place to start savings.

There are many different sellers of phone cards. There are also many resellers of phone cards. To tell the truth almost all phone cards shops offer almost the same rates for phone calls.

I use CentCalls.com phone cards store. I compared its rates with other phone cards stores and found that its prices and services are most attractive on the market. There are many other phone cards sites like AvailCom, MasterBell, ComFi, SpeedyPin, etc. But they seem to provide the same phone cards or their phone cards has the same rates.

I called from Canada to Russia for 87 minutes and paid only 5 dollars! It is very cheap. Different destinations of course cost different money. I called my family in Belarus and talked for 75 minutes. I spent only 15 dollars for this. I saved more than 150% in comparison with phone rates from my local telephone company.

There are of course different phone cards that offer different calling rates for different countries. The phone card that is very cheap for calls to Russia can be expensive for calls to India or Brazil. Phone calls to main cities also usually cheaper.

Note that there can be additional charges and taxes from phone cards providers but they are usually not more than 10%. It is not so much to pay attention to them. Better pay attention to additional services like Pinless dial, Speed dial, SMS Call, Web Call etc.

I prefer Continental phone card which has a lot of additional features and allows to call to my majority directions for just several cents per minute.

Don’t think that you are rich enough to afford yourself calling using your local telephone company. The savings on using phone cards can be really surprising. Better purchase vitamins to save on your health instead of overpaying telephone companies!
